Zhengzhou University has 12 disciplines including liberal arts, science, engineering, medicine, and agriculture. It has 3 first-class construction disciplines, 6 national key (cultivation) disciplines, 7 disciplines (fields) with ESI ranking top 1% in the world. ESI academic institutions rank 740th globally and 44th among universities in the country. This project aims to fund or reward scientific research in specific disciplines, publication of academic works, international exchanges and cooperation, and industry-university-research cooperation, etc., and work hand in hand with all sectors of society to make contributions to national economic construction and social development.
