On July 9, 2019, Civil Affairs Department of Henan Province officially released the assessment results of the 2017 provincial social organizations. Zhengzhou University Education Development Foundation was rated as "5A-level social organization", the only foundation to be rated as 5A-level in this assessment, and the only one among the 150 foundations in Henan Province at present.

Social organization evaluation is to undertake comprehensive evaluation to basic condition, internal management, work performance, party construction work and social evaluation and divide grade. The evaluation results are divided into 5 grades (valid for 5 years), from highest to lowest, namely 5A, 4A, 3A, 2A and 1A. 5A is the highest level.

Founded in March 2015, Education Development Foundation of Zhengzhou University has always followed the policy of "standardization, transparency, efficiency, safety and service" and adhered to the idea that "trust originates from responsibility". It has improved various management systems, standardized project management and made information open and transparent. The assessment, evaluation expert group on the basis of our school foundation condition, internal governance, performance and the social evaluation and so on four big aspects has carried on the comprehensive review and detailed assessment, highly and fully affirmed, thought foundation, sound system, management norms, open and transparent, social acceptance, fruitful, demonstration led.

In December 2016 and February 2018, Education Development Foundation of Zhengzhou University successively accepted 100 million yuan donation from alumni Hu Baosen and Zhang Jingguo to set up "Yuanyuan Education Development Fund" and "Zhengshang Education Development Fund", which received strong social response and increasingly expanded influence. It ranks 32nd in the 2019 alumni donation ranking.

The foundation was rated as 5A thanks to the help and support from all walks of life, teachers, students and alumni, as well as the correct guidance from superior leaders and the responsibility and dedication of the foundation team. All of them worked hard and conscientiously. Achievements represent the past, honors inspire the future. In the future, the Foundation will continue to work hard, never forget its original intention, and strive to be a first-class foundation, so as to make new and greater contributions to the development of education and the construction of a first-class university in Zhengzhou University.
