       周广胜博士,国家杰出青年科学基金获得者、“新世纪百千万人才工程”国家级人选,中国气象局气象杰出人才和《应用气象研究计划》首席科学家,中国气象科学研究院副院长、二级研究员、博士生导师。长期从事天气气候变化对生态系统的影响研究,主要研究方向包括生态气象、农业气象、碳循环、气候变化的影响与适应;是世界气象组织(WMO)农业服务委员会常务委员、全国生态保护与建设专家咨询委员会委员、中国生态学学会常务委员和生态气象专业委员会的发起人及首届主任委员。
