Hotel Management aims to cultivate hotel executives who could cater to hotel management needs, and master solid knowledge about hotel and tourism management,practical ability,  professional skills, good professional quality and humanistic spirit, and who could be proficient at hotel management operation and management, marketing, consulting, training, etc.

Its basic requirement is that based on foundation of discipline theories, the focus is on instructing hotel management core theories and basic knowledge, and training students of the procedure of hotel operation and management through practical education platforms, so that they could acquire ability,  professional quality and service awareness for hotel operation and management.

The main courses are Principles of Management,Western Economics, Marketing, Financial Management, Service Operation and Management, Management of Tourist Destinations, Tourist Consumer Behavior, Hotel Industry, Survey of Tourism, Survey of Convention and Exhibition, etc.

The major has a four-year curriculum, with a flexible study period of 3-6 years, which conforms to the regulations of Zhengzhou University for granting a bachelor's degree, andgrants a bachelor's degree in management.

The major must complete the 155 credits of the courses specified in the training program before graduation.
