The "2020 Annual Meeting of Ecological Civilization Education Research Branch of China Higher Education Society" was held at Yellow River Guest House in Zhengzhou on November 19, 2020. The theme of this annual meeting was "Ecological Civilization Construction and Regional Innovation and Development", which was sponsored by Ecological Civilization Education Research Branch of China Higher Education Society and Zhengzhou University, and jointly hosted by School of Tourism Management of Zhengzhou University, Energy Environment Economic Research Center of Zhengzhou University and Energy Economy and Sustainable Development Research Center of Peking University.
Wang Zongmin, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and vice president of Zhengzhou University; He Kebin, chairman of the Ecological Civilization Education Research Branch and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering; Gong Ke, president of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations and president of the China University Ecological Civilization Education Alliance; Wang Yi, member of the Standing Committee of the 13th National People's Congress and vice president of the Science and Technology Strategy Consulting Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; Li Junfeng, the first director of the National Center for Climate Change Strategy Research and International Cooperation and executive director of the China Energy Research Association, Shen Lei, vice chairman of China Natural Resources Society, and nearly 150 experts and scholars from Tsinghua University, Peking University, Zhengzhou University, Nankai University, Xiamen University, Hunan University, Northwestern Polytechnical University and Institute of Energy Resources and Environment of International Economic and Technical Cooperation Center of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology attended the meeting.
