On Nov. 26, 2021 the National Philosophical and Social Science Office announced the proposed key projects. Dean Professor Li Jinkai’sproposed project Research on China's New Energy Industry Initiative Mechanism and Prevention-and-control Risks In the Context of Low Carbon Development has been approved. This approved key project has become a breakthrough in the history of our school, and has shown the research ability of the academic staffon importantissues in philosophical and social field.
The project aims at 30-60 low carbon development,focuses on how to optimize energy industry initiative mechanism in the context of 30-60 low carbon development and helps to promote better development of the new energy industryin our country and realizethe national 30-60 dual carbon development and radical transformation of energy systems.The project provides action plans to enhance the energy industry competitiveness of our country,scientific basis for decision-making sectors,and practical guidance for building sound energy industry policies. It also provides China experience and China roadconcerning peak carbon dioxide emissions,carbon neutrality and new energy industry development.
