Objectives

This program cultivates senior engineering and technical talents, who have the basic theory of industry design and the ability to utilize professional knowledge, mainly undertake positions of modeling design of industrial product, environmental design and detaching and scientific research in enterprise and public institutions, professional design sectors and scientific research institutions.

Basic requirements

Graduates of this program should possess:

a.Solid basic knowledge of natural science, humanities and art;

b.The necessary basic technical and theoretical knowledge of this major, mainly including basic theory and the three constitution theories of Mechanics, basic theory of Ergonomics and knowledge about market-oriented economy and business management;

c.The necessary basic skills, including expression techniques, model making and photography, the excellent computer skills and foreign languages level;

d.Solid basic knowledge, progressive design ideas, acute consciousness of analyzing and experienced in design and presentation;

e.Strong skill in self learning, good sense of innovation and high comprehensive quality.

Curriculum

A.Period of Program

The period of the program is full-time four years (Flexible between 3-6 years). Graduates who conform to the regulations of Zhengzhou University can be granted as Bachelor of Engineering.

B. Credit Required

Student of the program should complete all courses required and scored 170.5 credits (94.5 credits from platform courses, 60 from module courses, and 16 from optional courses) for bachelor degree.
