The 12th "Higher Education Cup" about University Students' Advanced Drawing Technology and Product Information Modeling Innovation Contest in Henan Province was successfully held in our college.

Supported by Henan Science and Technology Association, hosted by Henan Engineering Graphics Society, Henan Mechanical Engineering Society, and Henan Mechanical Industry Vocational Education School-Enterprise Cooperation Steering Committee, the 12th "Higher Education Cup" was held at School of Mechanical and Power engineering of ZZU.

Either online or offline, a total of 43 teams from 27 universities in Henan province participated in this competition, with a total of 480 competitors, of which 322 are from the mechanical category, and 158 from the architectural category. 70 instructors attended the meeting (online). The competition sets up group awards and individual awards. 44 students from our school participated in the competition and won one special prize for mechanical group and 14 first prizes for single mechanical prize.

This competition shows an example for holding graphics student competitions in the way both online and offline. On the eve of the competition, Xu Dongsheng, secretary of the Disciplinary Committee of Zhengzhou University, and Wang Dingbiao, secretary of the party committee of School of Mechanical and power engineering, met with Shao Likang, executive director of the Chinese Society of Graphics and director of the graphics technology professional committee.
