Dr. Gao currently is an associate professor & deputy dean of School of Mechanical Engineering at Zhengzhou University (ZZU). He has been working in ZZU since he received his doctor degree in 2006. During the period from 2011 to 2014, he finished his postdoctoral research at the joint postdoctoral research station of the Control Science and Engineering Mobile Station of ZZU-Anyang Xinsheng Machine Tool Co., Ltd. He is a senior member of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, a director ofComputer Integrated Manufacturing Systems and a reviewer ofMechanical Systems and Signal Processing. Moreover, he has presided over and participated in more than 10 projects such as National Natural Science Foundation, National Science and Technology Major Projects and Horizontal Projects entrusted by Enterprises. More than 40 academic papers have been published in important academic journals such as Robot, Computer Integrated Manufacturing System and international academic conferences such as ASME and IEEE, 20 of which are indexed in SCI/EI. Four Chinese patents have been authorized and three books on science and technology have been published by national publishing houses.

1.Intelligent design of battery pack based on material feature recognition and job trajectory optimization, supported by national key research and development plan sub-project (850,000 YuanCNY), 2011.05-2021.01, hosted, under research.

2. Research on key technologies of Intelligent CNC lathe, supported by provincial major science and technology special sub-project (Grant NO.171100210300-01), 2017-2019, hosted, under research.

3. Performance analysis and structural optimization design of a new type of upper limb rehabilitation robot, supported by key scientific research project of Henan Higher Education Institute (50,000 YuanCNY), 2018.9-2020.12, presided over, under research.

4. Development and production process optimization of intelligent detection platform for motor vehicle signage printing quality (1.33 million YuanCNY), hosted, under research.

5.Theoretical analysis and experimental research on dynamic coordination problem of a novel serial-parallel hybrid quadruped walking robot, supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (Grant NO.U1304510), 2014.1-2016.12, hosted, closed.

6. Development of key data automatic acquisition and recording system for vulcanization equipment production process, supported by enterprise commissioned project (212,000 YuanCNY), 2017.07-2018.08, hosted, closed.
