Symposium on Cancer Metabolism was held by AMS

On 25th August, the“2019 ZZU Symposium on Cancer Metabolism” was held at AMS. It was hosted by the Center for Pathology and Molecular Biology and focused on the exploration and discussion of frontiers of cancer research and treatment, such as the functional significance of metabolic reprogramming in cancer development and progression, novel molecular targets in cancer prevention and treatment as well as their potential application in clinical practice. Nine winners of The National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and Excellent Young Scholars presented their recent work. They are from Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Wuhan University, etc.

Dean Nick Lemoine gave a welcome address and hoped to see more progress made in this field. Over 100 faculty and students from ZZU and affiliated hospitals attended the symposium.
