我室博士生张铭芮和谌啟珏参加可持续工业加工峰会（SIPS 2024）国际会议并做口头报告

（Outstanding Presentation by Doctoral Student Mingrui Zhang and Qijue Chen from Our Laboratory at SIPS 2024 International Conference）

2024年10月20日-10月23日，可持续工业加工峰会国际会议暨研讨会（Sustainable Industrial Processing Summit, SIPS 2024）由非营利性公司 “FLOGEN Stars Outreach”（www.flogen.org）组织，雅典国立技术大学和希腊环境和能源部联合承办。此次会议旨在追求可持续发展的过程中科学和工程领域之间的联系，重点关注3 个可持续发展领域：(1) 科学、技术与工业；(2) 治理与管理；(3) 教育与公民社会。会议得到了爱思唯尔出版商（Elsevier journals and publishers），美国化学协会（American Chemical Society）的协助，以及受到拉尔科（Larco）和希腊黄金（Hellas Gold）等赞助商们的支持。

  The Sustainable Industrial Processing Summit International Conference & Symposium (SIPS 2024), 20 October - 23 October 2024, is organized by the non-profit company ‘FLOGEN Stars Outreach ‘(www.flogen.org), organized by the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and co-hosted by the Hellenic Ministry of Environment and Energy. The conference aimed at the linkages between the fields of science and engineering in the pursuit of sustainable development, focusing on the 3 pillars of sustainable development: (1) Science, Technology and Industry; (2) Governance and Management; and (3) Education and Civil Society. The conference was facilitated by Elsevier journals and publishers, the American Chemical Society, and supported by sponsors such as Larco and Hellas Gold.

  我室博士生张铭芮和谌啟珏代表郑州大学参加了此次国际会议，并分别作了题为 《朝向可持续皮革工艺：经济和环境效益显著的一步酶法束流工艺》和 《从制革废料中提取胶原蛋白的新策略》的口头汇报，分享有关生物质资源回收利用的宝贵见解和研究成果。

Mingrui Zhang and Qijue Chen, Ph. D candidates from our laboratory, represented Zhengzhou University participated this international conference. Zhang delivered an oral presentation titled "Towards Sustainable Leather Manufacturing: A One-step Enzymatic Beamhouse with Significant Economical and Environmental Benefits," and Chen delivered an oral presentation titled "A Novel Strategy For Collagen Extraction From Tannery Wastes," in which they shared valuable insights and research results in biomass resource recovery and utilization.

张铭芮和谌啟珏在汤克勇教授指导下一直致力于研究胶原基材料的表征，合成以及劣化机制，此次报告阐述了在生皮废弃物回收胶原和皮革可持续加工所面临的挑战，并揭示了更高效、经济和环保的处理方式。这项研究不仅推动了对皮革制革工艺的理解，也为全球可持续加工工作者提供了新的方法和思路。

Under the supervision of Professor Keyong Tang, Mingrui Zhang and Qijue Chen have been working on the characterization, synthesis and deterioration mechanisms of collagen-based materials, and this presentation illustrates the challenges of recycling collagen from rawhide waste and the sustainable processing of leather, as well as revealing more efficient, economical and environmentally friendly ways of handling them. This research not only advances the understanding of the leather tanning process, but also provides new approaches and ideas for sustainable processing practitioners worldwide.

The SIPS conference provides a unique platform for experts and researchers from all over the world, and serves as a link to promote multidisciplinary cross-disciplinary and international cooperation. The contributions of Mingrui Zhang and Qijue Chen are in line with the overall goal of the conference, which is to achieve sustainable utilization of biomass resources through the use of green methods. This participation not only showcases the high-caliber talent from institutions such as Zhengzhou University, but also emphasizes the critical importance of collaborative efforts in sustainable processing.

在国际交流与合作处的大力支持下，材料学院组织开展研究生国际会议研究生参会口头报告专题分享会。11月7日18点-19点，张铭芮和谌啟珏于主校区协创A座301室与各位师生就此次参会交流分享心得。

With the support of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, the School of Materials organized a sharing session of oral presentations by PhD students attending the International Conference for Postgraduate Students, which was held from 18:00 to 19:00 on 7 November in Room 301, Block A, Xiechuang Building, Main Campus, in which Zhang Mingrui and Chen Qijue shared their experiences with teachers and students on the conference.
