Innovation helps China dream stick to Shenlan
On May 11, 1997, an IBM computer named IBM Dark Blue defeated world chess champion Kasparov in six competitions and became the first robot to defeat the human brain. Like IBM's Shenlan in Zhengzhou University, Shenlan Science and Technology has been challenging the impossibility of creating another excellent performance.
As one of the only 50 selected teams in the country and the only one in Henan Province, Shenlan win the honorary title of "Xiaoping Scientific and Technological Innovation Team" at the Eleventh China Youth Science and Technology Innovation Award Award Awards on August 24, 2018 in the Great Hall of the People.
Shenlan has completed a series of scientific creations, such as Magic Flower, Intelligent Guide Wand, Intelligent Sign Language Translation Robot, Underwater Underwater Underwater Vehicle without Paddle, and has won 45 national awards, including 6 first-class awards, 53 provincial awards and more than 80 patents. 13 papers were published. Behind these honors is the efforts and persistence of a batch of "Shenlan" students for their youthful dreams. Facts have proved that they deserve these honors.
Shenlan Ministry of Science and Technology has been 15 years since its inception, Shenlan has also stepped out of a large number of outstanding students: Baosteel outstanding student prize winners Song Jiyuan, Wei Dequan, Zhao Jianzhuang, 2017 iCAN International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition "Star of Entrepreneurship" Liu Yujie, Cui Zhengzhe, "Star of Innovation" Dong Binxin, Yicheng Lei... "Shenlan" people not only do their own scientific and technological innovation projects in their spare time, even during the summer vacation, the students of the Shenlan Department of Science and Technology are not idle. In this summer vacation, the members of the Shenlan Department of Science and Technology actively participate in the summer scientific and technological innovation activities under the guidance of Zhang Hongxuan, Cui Chao and other teachers. Our team members Wang Kaiyong, Yang Xuanxuan and Wudong won the national championship in the China Robot Competition in 2018. Our team members Dong Binxin, Yi Chenglei, Wang Kaiyong and Gao Qingguang won the prize in the 7th National Marine Vehicle Design and Manufacture Competition, and the 3rd National College Intelligent Transportation Innovation and Creation In the industry competition, our department members Dong Binxin, Yicheng Lei and Wang Kaiyong won the first prize in the country and won honors for the school.
The iCAN International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in Henan Province was successfully held in the Institute of Mechanical Engineering. Shen Lan's competed with 126 excellent teams from 10 universities, such as the PLA Information Engineering University, Henan University, Henan University of Science and Technology and Henan University of Science and Technology. Finally, the students of Shenlan Science and Technology Department participated in the project and won 8 first prizes, 4 second prizes, 4 third prizes and Wudong team's " The school's 11 outstanding events, such as the intelligent takeaway helmet, Wang Kaiyong's team's intervention and control technology of animal will behavior, and Yang Xuanxuan's team's "hybrid robot with climbing legs" have been successfully promoted to the National Finals.
