AbstractEnergy is the pillar of the national economy and the cornerstone of social development, and mechanics, as a bridge between natural science and engineering technology, is bound to play an important role in energy-related science and engineering issues. It is clear to the academic and industry circles that the performance of energy devices is generally closely related to the dynamic behavior of energy materials. This report will focus on the mechanics of energy storage batteries, based on the basic theory of force-electrochemical coupling, with the battery/electrode performance degradation mechanism and damage analysis, high-performance long-life battery research and development, introduce the mechanics analysis as the core of the basic to application of battery research and development new ideas. The main contents of this report include: 1) stress-coupled electrochemical reactions: the promotion of classical electrochemical reaction dynamics equations, the establishment of BV equations including stress coupling, and 2) the deterioration mechanism of performance and the prediction of hydraulic damage: the establishment of electrode scale diffusion Induced stress model, proposed the prediction method and suppression method of electrode interface layering, found the contact stress-led composite electrode deterioration mechanism, 3) high-performance lithium-ion battery research and development: the use of partial lithium method to inhibit the performance deterioration of silicon composite electrode, Design and prepare ultra-high multiple ultra-stable nanocapsule active particles, research and development of rapid charging stress regulation methods.
