Recently, 2021 "Guanggu Cup", the final of the third China Graduate Robotics Innovation Design Competition was held. On behalf of Zhengzhou University, graduate students Changjingjing, Cao Manyi, supervised by Professor Zheng Peng, won the third prize of the final by the composition of "Defective E-cigarette Automatic Rejection Robot System Design".

The 3^rd China Graduate Robot Innovation and Design Competition was jointly organized by Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan Municipal Committee Organization Department (Wuhan Recruitment Bureau) and Wuhan East Lake New Technology Development Zone Management Committee. According to the epidemic prevention and control arrangements, the national finals of the competition are conducted online. A total of 762 teams participated in the national competition, after the primaries, 172 teams entered the national finals.

The China Graduate Robot Innovation And Design Competition is one of the theme events of the China Graduate Innovation Practice Series. The scope of entries includes new concepts, new technologies and new products of robots, adhere to the world's scientific and technological frontiers, economics, life and health. Competitors can focus on the theme of a robot field, showing capacity of insight into social needs, innovative design and key technology realization, improving the level of postgraduate teaching and scientific research innovation practice, and promoting the development of the robot industry.
