Recently, with the cooperation of the State Key Laboratory of Esophageal Cancer Prevention and Treatment, Prof. Wang Lidong’s research team in the First Affiliated Hospital of ZZU worked together with the team led by Prof. Chen Xingqi of Uppsala University in Sweden, making a new breakthrough in the field of molecular mechanism of tumor cancerization. The paper was published under the title “Focal amplifications are associated with Chromothripsis Events and Diverse Prognoses in Gastric cardia Denocarcinoma”inthe prestigious journalNature Communications. Along with the State Key Laboratory of Esophageal Cancer Prevention and Treatment, Dr. Zhao Xueke and Dr. Song Xin at the First Affiliated Hospital, and Dr. Xing Pengwei at Uppsala University are co-first authors. Prof. Wang Lidong and Prof. Chen Xingqi co-corresponding authors.
