Industrial Design is the new discipline with the tight combination of the science technology and the art. Our teaching system includes the basic theory and skills of industrial design, pay high attention to the application and innovation ability which can work as the industrial modeling design, vision communication design as well as environment design for the enterprise and public institution, professional design department and the design research institute. The major fostering target is that the profession design talent and senior industrial designer with the ability of modern science technology and artistic accomplishments. The students are also trained with the combination of industrial design theory and the practical skills with both the market concept and the product research and development capability. Our graduates can serve in the product modeling design, in- or outdoor environment design, vision communication design and so on.

There are three professional emphasis in our major field: product design, ceramics design and vision communication design, students in the senior grade can select their major discipline according to their interesting and the social requirement. In the recent years, the graduates employment ratio is above 98%.
