Introduction:
The Master of Manufacturing Engineering program of Zhengzhou University (ZZU) is intended to prepare the student to assume a role of technical leadership in the manufacturing industries. The degree is aimed at practitioners who will use this knowledge to become leaders in existing as well as emerging manufacturing companies.
Duration: 3 years
Thesis:
Research work for the thesis is usually supervised by a faculty. The Master degree requires completion of a thesis describing research of publishable quality. The work of the Master Degree Candidate needs to be evaluated by a selected academic committee to decide if he/she is qualified for further study. The thesis must be orally defended and appraised by a committee consisting of the advisor, one member from other academic institution, and at least three other faculty members in the
Department of Manufacturing Engineering. The research area may be closed related to the field.
Curriculum
Courses:
Students should learn at least 26 degree credits from the following courses (about 9 courses) with a minimum of 17 coursework credits, excluding credits received for thesis work.
