Introduction:
The Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering program of Zhengzhou University (ZZU) provides advanced preparation in the practice of mechanical engineering for mechanical engineers seeking technical careers in industry. This preparation will include a guided, independent design project and advanced coursework in mechanical engineering and related areas. Both the design project and the coursework will be selected as appropriate in specific areas of interest to the student and graduate advisor and for which the faculty is qualified to direct and instruct.
Duration: 3 years
Thesis:
Research work for the thesis is usually supervised by a faculty. The Master degree requires completion of a thesis describing research of publishable quality. The work of the Master Degree Candidate needs to be evaluated by a selected academic committee to decide if he/she is qualified for further study. The thesis must be orally defended and appraised by a committee consisting of the advisor, one member from other academic institution, and at least three other faculty members in the
Department of Mechanical Engineering. The research area may be closed related to the field.
