Recently, Sun Yingpu & Xu Jiawei research group of the First Affiliated Hospital of ZZU and Jiewei Research Group of the Academy of Life Sciences of Tsinghua University have jointly studied and revealed the law of histone modification and reprogramming in early human embryonic development. The model of “Epigenome Restart” was proposed. The results were published in the journal Science in a paper entitled “Resetting histone modifications during human parental-to-zygotic transition”, with Prof. Sun Yingpu, researcher Jiewei and Prof. Xu Jiawei as the communication authors of this article, with Dr. Xia Weikun, Dr. Yu Guang, Prof. Xu Jiawei and Associate researcher Yao Guidong of the First Affiliated Hospital as the co-first authors of the article. The research has been supported by many projects, such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Science and Technology, Beijing Municipal Commission of Science and Technology and Joint Center for Life Sciences, as well as international research scholars at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute in USA.(translator Song Gencheng)
