The first successful ECMO assisted single-hole thoracoscopic resection of tracheal tumors in thoracic surgery in Henan

Professor Qi Yu on Professor Zhao Song's team from Department of Thoracic Surgery of First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University has successfully completed the first ECMO assisted single-hole thoracoscopic resection of tracheal tumors in thoracic surgery in Henan province. This innovative technique is the first of its kind in Henan province, and combination of ECMO and single-hole thoracoscope is achieved for the first time.
