On the morning of February 2, the dean of the Medical College, Dong Zigang, went to the Second Affiliated Hospital to examine, guide the epidemic prevention and control work and visited the frontline staff. Dong Zigang and his staff were on the spot to find out the progress of the new fever clinic in the second affiliated hospital, listened to the work situation of the 28 medical aid teams sent to Wuhan by the Second Affiliated Hospital. He inquired in detail about the work, life and physical condition of the medical aid team in the hospital and conveyed their thanks and condolences through the hospital leaders to the members and their families. Dong Zigang and staffs also had a detailed understanding of the hospital epidemic prevention and control material reserve and its demand, as well as the next step to prevent and control the pressure and response measures. At present, the epidemic prevention and control is in a critical period, leaders of the Medical College attach great importance to it and take the prevention and control of the epidemic as the current top priority.
