报告人简介：

Dr.  Fang Qiu is a Professor and Department Head for Geospatial Information  Sciences at the University of Texas at Dallas. Dr. Qiu's research areas  include remote sensing, artificial intelligence, spatial analysis and  modeling. His research work has been funded by National Science  Foundation (NSF), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA),  Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Centers for Disease Control  and Prevention (CDC), etc. He was the Winner of ERDAS Award for Best  Scientific Paper in Remote Sensing by American Society of Photogrammetry  and Remote Sensing in 2013, and Winners of AAG Remote Sensing Special  Group Award in 2011 and 2013.
