The iF Design Competition, which began in 1953, was organized by Hannover Industrial Design Forum, Germany's oldest industrial design agency.The competition，Red dot and IDEA are known as the world's top three design events. Specially，the iF Award is known as the "Oscar" in the design world. It is divided into the listed product design award and the student concept design award. All student awards are now integrated into the iF DESIGN TALENT AWARD. There are countless works from around the world each year, but only the top 100 awards.

Lin Changkun won the iF Design Rookie Award, which is the first time that our school has achieved zero breakthrough in this famous international design competition.

The lunch box is named by "Warm". The reheated lunch box is designed to give children in remote and mountainous areas a warm lunch. Warm looks like a common buckle lunch box, but the internal structure is different: its middle structure has a heating module which is filled with chemicals for heating.

When using Warm, simply press the button outside the lunch box to cause a chemical reaction in the internal chemicals, which can provide heat to heat the food to a suitable temperature.

Lin Changkun went to the mountains to investigate the children's lunch situation and found that due to the poverty of the mountain schools, heating and insulation equipment could not be provided, which caused children can't eat warm lunches, and then anorexia, terribly causing nutritional problems. He developed the idea of helping the children with the power of his own design.

The chemical material used for heat generation is anhydrous sodium acetate, which becomes crystal after exotherm. When it is used again, it only needs to be boiled in boiling water for a few minutes, and it is returned to the liquid state for reheating. This will solve the problem of children's lunch cooling with a cheap and efficient solution.

It has also been learned that as a very excellent senior student of industrial design, Lin Changkun has already received an admission letter from the St. Martins College of Art and Design in the UK; this is the first time that the industrial design students of our school have been recognized by this world famous institute.
