Our School holds the iCAN International Innovation and Entrepreneurship competition in Henan.

From September 22 to 23, the iCAN International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held in School of Mechanical Engineering of ZZU. 126 excellent teams from 10 universities including Zhengzhou University, Information Engineering University of the People's Liberation Army, Henan University, Henan University of Technology and Henan University of Science and Technology participated in the competition.

The leaders and guests of the competition included Liu Chao, member of the Party Committee of the University and director of the Student Department, Mr. Zhang Xiaoshui, chief engineer and senior engineer of Hanwei Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., Vice General Manager of Hanwei Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., Mr. Jin Guixin, senior engineer, and General Manager of Enterprise Solution Center of New Cape Technology Co., Ltd. Mr. Li Haiwei, Mr. Wang Jingang, Product Manager of Intelligent Recognition Division of New Cape Technologies Co., Ltd., Mr. Sun Yishu, Director of Home Appliances Department of Dahe Newspaper, Mr. Ma Jinlong, Vice-President of Keduo Science and Technology, General Manager of Keduo National Mass Creation Space, Vice-President of iCAN China Alliance, Head of Henan Competition Area and Vice-Party Committee of Mechanical Engineering College Secretary Zhang Hongxuan, teacher.

The entries involved intelligent manufacturing, intelligent medical treatment, intelligent wear, intelligent education and other fields. The contest was conducted in the way of "work lecture + on-the-spot reply". The judges judged the innovations, practical performance and market prospects of the entries. After two days of fierce competition, our school team won eight first prizes, nine second prizes and seven third prizes, including eight first prizes, four second prizes and four third prizes for projects involving students of our college, the "intelligent take-out helmet" of Wudong team and the "animal will behavior intervention and control technology" of Wang Kaiyong team. "Yang Xuanxuan's team's" hybrid robot with climbing wheels"and other excellent projects of the whole school have been promoted to the national finals.
