About the role
Wellington College, Zhengzhou University, in collaboration with Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, is currently recruiting Academic Staff for its "4+0" Dual-Degree Joint Training Program.
We are looking for dynamic professionals to deliver high-quality teaching that meets the dual standards of both universities. In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating students' professional competence and cross-cultural communication skills.
Key responsibilities:
· Teaching & Cultivation: Deliver relevant professional courses, focusing on cultivating students' professional competence, academic ability, and cross-cultural communication skills to achieve the joint training objectives.
· Language & Standards: Ensure all courses are taught entirely in English and that teaching content and quality meet the dual standards of both Zhengzhou University and Victoria University of Wellington.
· Compliance: Strictly adhere to the academic regulations of both institutions to ensure teaching continuity.
About you
You are a dedicated educator with a strong sense of responsibility and a passion for international education. You possess excellent cross-cultural communication skills and are committed to delivering high-quality teaching.
Key requirements:
· General Requirements: You must possess good multicultural literacy and cross-cultural communication skills, with experience in multicultural environments or international communities. You must love education, have a high sense of responsibility, professionalism, and teamwork awareness.
· Nationality: Applicants must be foreign teachers (Foreigners).
· Education: PhD degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or Industrial Design from a recognized overseas institution. You must have applied for, or be in the process of obtaining, NZQA (New Zealand Qualifications Authority) qualification authentication.
· Experience: Prior teaching experience at overseas universities or international institutions is required. Familiarity with international higher education models is essential.
· Language: Native or near-native fluency in English. (Native English speakers are preferred).
· Skills: Proficient in English-medium teaching methodologies and student assessment. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· Priority: Candidates with research experience, familiarity with the Chinese higher education context, or curriculum reform experience will be given priority.
Recruitment Process
1. 4. Employment & Training: Successful candidates will sign a teaching agreement in accordance with the global foreign teacher recruitment standards of Wellington College. You must complete a mandatory induction training program before commencing teaching.

· Salary Structure: Pre-tax annual salary, comprising 70% base salary and 30% performance bonus.
· Payment Schedule:
o Base Salary (70%): Paid monthly in 12 installments.
o Performance Bonus (30%): Paid annually upon successful completion of the annual review and based on actual time served.
· Taxation: The above standards are pre-tax. Individual Income Tax will be deducted monthly by the school as per regulations.
· Note: If the annual review is unsatisfactory, the performance bonus will be forfeited. Salaries will be adjusted based on actual time served if the contract start date is missed.
