Cultural Industry Research Center of Zhengzhou University

Cultural Industry Research Center of Zhengzhou University was established in 2007. This research center is based on the School of Journalism and Communication, and  approved by Zhengzhou University. In 2011, Cultural Industry Research Center of Zhengzhou University colleborated with Henan Provincial Creative Industry Association, and set up Henan Provincial Cultural and Creative Industry Research Center. Since 2016, Cultural Industry Research Center of Zhengzhou University has begun to run its official account, initially named as “Zhengda wenhua”(郑大文化)，then changed as “Dahe zhifeng”(大河之风). Until 2023, it has accumulated amost 600 articles which mainly about intangible cultural heritage development. In 2021, this research center was approved as the intangible Cultural Heritage Research Base by Henan Provincial Culture  and  Tourism  Department .

The Cultural Industry Research Center of Zhengzhou University mainly research on the fields of cultural industry, intangible cultural heritage, public cultural services, and the cultural communication of central region of China. The research center memebers have been in charged of many national and provincial scientific research projects, published many monographs, papers, research reports, government decision-making consultations. Besides, research center memebrs have participated in the formulation of local cultural policies, and the planning of cultural industry projects . So far, the research center has won the first prize of Henan Provincial Social Science Outstanding Achievements 3 times.

At present, Professor Wang Zhenjun is the director of the Center. Research center members includes: Associate Professor Chu Jinyong, Associate Professor Chu Mingqin, Associate Professor Wang Yilan, Associate Professor Chang Qiyun, Lecture Guo Chen, and several external researchers.
