According to the spirit of the Ministry of Education's Notice on Printing and Distributing the Regulations on the Administration of National Postgraduate Student Enrollment in 2023 (Teaching [2022] No.3) and Zhengzhou University's Notice on Doing a good job in National Postgraduate Student Enrollment in 2023, combined with the actual situation of graduate student enrollment in this year, The detailed rules for the admission of postgraduate students for the second examination in 2023 have been formulated. The main contents are as follows.
1.Organization and leadership
(1) The School sets up a leading group for the re-examination of postgraduate admission to guide and supervise the specific work of the re-examination. The office of the Graduate Student Recruitment Reexamination Leading Group of the College is responsible for handling the daily work of the recruitment reexamination.
(2)The College sets up the qualification examination group and the expert re-examination group of various disciplines to be responsible for the qualification examination of the re-examination of enrollment and the specific implementation of the procedures of the re-examination. The number of experts in each reexamination group shall be no less than 5, and there shall be 1 part-time discipline inspector. Discipline inspection personnel shall be responsible for the whole process of the re-examination on-site supervision, and make records. There are 1-2 secretaries who are responsible for technical support, examination of candidates' qualifications, recording of re-examination and filing of re-examination materials.
2.Working principles
(1) Adhering to the principles of openness, fairness and justice, ensuring that policies are transparent, rules are fair, procedures are fair, results are made public, and oversight mechanisms are sound.
(2) Adhere to the principle of scientific selection, comprehensive examination and comprehensive evaluation, not only pay attention to the examination of academic knowledge, but also strengthen the examination of the candidates' professional ability and quality and the potential of scientific research innovation; We should not only pay attention to students' exam results, but also pay attention to students' ideological and political quality, moral character and consistent performance, and comprehensively measure and select the best students to ensure quality.
(3) Make the re-examination and admission work more scientific, standardized and effective, and effectively improve the quality of work.
(4) Put people first, respect and serve examinees, and safeguard their legitimate rights and interests.
(5) Adhere to the classification of the second interview. Candidates for professional degree and academic degree will be retested separately.
3. Retest procedures and relevant requirements
(1) Determining the list of retests and the balance of retests
Principle of determining the list of retests: Determine the list of retests according to the line of retests published by our university.
Balance form of the second test: the overall balance ratio shall not be less than 120%.
(2) Qualification examination
List of materials to be submitted for qualification examination:
Admission ticket.
Both sides of the person's resident identity card. If you lose your ID card, you can use a temporary ID card (valid for 3 months) or a household registration certificate issued by the local police station (with a recent one-inch photo and a seal).
School status, educational certificate (degree) :
A. Fresh graduates shall submit their student ID card or the student certificate issued by the educational administration department of their school or the Online Verification Report of the Ministry of Education issued by the Student Credit Network;
B. Previous students submit their academic and degree certificates for online application;
C. For candidates who fail to pass the verification of their academic status, previous students must submit the Chinese Higher Education Diploma Certification Report or the Electronic Registration Record Form of Education Certificate issued by Xuxin Network, and fresh undergraduate students must submit the Online Verification Report of Education Status issued by Xuxin Network. Students with a graduate school record should submit the approval certificate issued by the graduate school of the university (office);
D. Candidates who have obtained a diploma or degree certificate abroad should provide the diploma or degree certificate and the Certificate of Foreign Diploma or Degree issued by the Service Center for Overseas Study of the Ministry of Education.

The political examination materials issued by the examinee's unit shall be filled in and sealed by the school (department) Party organization of the university; Non-fresh candidates shall be filled in and stamped by the Party organization of the examinee's unit, and those without Party organizations may also be filled in and stamped by the personnel department of the unit; The non-fresh candidates who have no work unit can be filled in and sealed by the party organization of the street, community, village committee or the unit where the file is located.

Specific arrangements and relevant requirements for the second interview
Written examination of specialized courses
Exam time: 9:00-11:00, April 1
Exam venue: School of Journalism and Communication
The professional written test is closed book, the test time is 2 hours, full score is 100, accounting for 30% of the score of the second test.
Test preparation: Candidates need to bring their own black signature pen to answer questions. The writing on the paper should be standardized, neat and clear, and no content unrelated to the test question should appear.
Answer: Please fill in the admission ticket number, name and major with black signature on the exam paper and answer sheet. All questions must be answered in the specified position on the answer sheet. All answers in the non-specified position will be invalid.
Submit the paper: this written test is not allowed to hand in the paper in advance, the invigilator will collect the paper uniformly. Candidates are not allowed to leave the classroom after the completion of the examination paper, until the invigilator announced that they have received the answer paper, to leave the classroom, after the examination candidates need to keep the content of the questions strictly confidential, not to be passed on.
English listening and speaking test arrangement
Exam time: 14:00-18:00, April 1st

The full score of English listening and speaking test is 100 points, accounting for 20% of the score of the second test.
The interview content includes: self-introduction; Select the test questions and answer the questions raised by the experts.
Students of the same academic level take an additional test

The exam time of equivalent academic ability is 2 hours, the full score of the paper is 100 points, and the score of the additional test will not be included in the total score of the second test.
Professional interview
Interview time: All day, April 2nd
Interview content includes: self-introduction and practical ability display; Extract test questions and answer questions from experts on related majors and related research directions; Answer additional questions from the experts.
The full score of the professional interview is 100 points, accounting for 50% of the score of the second exam.
(4) Calculating and publicizing the results of the second examination and the comprehensive results
The results of the second test were all quantified. The full mark of the retest score is 100 points. The retest score and the preliminary test score (converted into a percentage system) are added together according to the weight to form the comprehensive score. The weight ratio of the retest score and the preliminary test score is 3:7. Make a comprehensive ranking according to the grades of different majors.
Second test score = written test score (30%) + English score (20%) + interview score (50%).
Comprehensive score = preliminary test score (70%) + second test score (30%).
If the total score of the reexamination is lower than 60 points, or the additional subjects of the same academic level are lower than 60 points, the candidates found during the reexamination do not meet the examination conditions, violate the examination discipline, ideological and political quality and moral quality do not meet the admission requirements will be regarded as unqualified for the reexamination and will not be admitted.
Re-examination results will be posted on the College website within 48 hours after completion of the re-examination.
(5) Physical examination
The physical examination will be conducted at the time of enrollment, and the specific method and arrangement will be carried out according to the notice of the Graduate School.
4.Adjust
One volunteer candidate in our school has sufficient student resources, and will not accept off-campus adjustment. The College will decide on the subsequent transfer according to the first batch of admission and will inform you later.
5.Admission work
The list of candidates to be admitted shall be determined according to the enrollment plan of the unit, the admission method of the second examination, the scores of the candidates in the first and second examination, the ideological and political performance, and the physical and mental health status. The number of students admitted shall be subject to the final enrollment plan issued by the university.
Violations will be investigated and punished in strict accordance with relevant regulations. Candidates with violations in the process of reexamination, once verified, shall be seriously dealt with in accordance with the provisions of "Measures for Handling Violations of National Education Examination" and "Interim Measures for Handling Violations of Enrollment Violations of Ordinary Institutions of Higher Learning", and their admission qualifications shall be cancelled and recorded in the "Examinee Integrity File". Within 3 months after enrollment, all candidates will be reexamined in accordance with the relevant requirements of the Regulations on Student Management of Ordinary Institutions of Higher Learning. If the student fails to pass the reexamination, his/her school status will be cancelled; If the circumstances are serious, the case shall be transferred to the relevant department for investigation and handling.
6.Others
(1)Selection of admission categories. Candidates should choose the admission category carefully. Once the admission category is determined, it will not be changed. Full-time and part-time candidates are required to provide political review materials, complete file transfer (full-time) and agreement signing in accordance with relevant regulations. The specific method and time of submission shall be subject to the notice of the Research and Engineering Department. The university does not assume responsibility for the problems caused by the candidates applying for the master degree and the units they work for.
Full-time graduate students: They can choose two types of employment: directed employment or non-directed employment. Directed employment of master students according to the orientation contract employment, personnel files and salary relationship will not be transferred to our university, before being admitted to the enrollment unit, the employer must sign the orientation training agreement, and submit to the unit personnel department sealed the orientation employment agreement. Non - directed employment of master students according to their graduation and the employer's two-way selection of employment. The salary relation and personnel files of non-directed employment graduate students must be transferred to the university.
Part-time postgraduate students: According to the relevant documents of the Ministry of Education, part-time postgraduate students are recruited in principle. The personnel files and salary relation of part-time graduate students are not transferred to our university.
(2)Candidates must consciously obey the unified arrangement of the university and the college, according to the specified time node to participate in the reexamination links. If the candidate fails to complete the second interview due to unexplained loss of contact, the second interview will be deemed to have been given up automatically.
(3)The re-examination ranking list will be published on our website within 48 hours after the completion of the re-examination, please pay attention to it.
(4)Other relevant issues shall be explained by the "Leading Group of 2023 Recruitment Reexamination" and the "Expert Group of 2023 Reexamination" of the School of Journalism and Communication.
