Chongqing Wang
Dr. Chongqing Wang received his PhD from Central South University in 2017. He worked in School of Chemical and Energy, Zhengzhou University since 2017. He is the (co-) author of more than 20 publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals. He achieved 4 authorized national patents.
Research Fields:
1. Froth flotation for separation of waste plastics
Developing novel methods for separation of waste plastics by froth flotation. Various surface modifications are proposed to enhance the difference of plastics, improving flotation separation of waste plastics. Desired results with purity and recovery of 100% are achieved at bench scale.
2. Efficient recovery of solid wastes
Developing novel methods for efficient recovery of solid wastes such as industrial wastes, municipal wastes and waste biomass. Valuable components from these wastes are recovered via physical or chemical methods.
3. Wastewater treatment using solid wastes
Developing novel methods for conversion of solid wastes into adsorbents or catalysts for removing toxic pollutants in water. Bio-adsorbents of heavy metals are prepared using waste biomass. Catalysts for degradation of organic pollutants are prepared using solid wastes, and regulation of catalytic activity is carried out to improve catalytic performance.
