Suyu Jiang
M.S., Lecturer. Ms. Jiang graduated from College of Chemical Engineering of Dalian University of Technology in July 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree. In June 2007, she graduated from University of Poitier (France) with a Master of Science degree. She worked as an environmental consultant at Shanghai Sogreah Consultants Ltd. Since December 2008, she has worked in the School of Chemical Engineering and Energy of Zhengzhou University.
Research Fields
1. Developing the new generation of solid-Fenton catalysts to remove trace amounts of toxic organics and heavy metals from water. Studying the mechanism of the H2O2 decomposition and the OH radicals.
2. Investigation on the structure-performance relationship between the interfacial structure modification and the catalytic performance of the catalyst in the heterogeneous catalytic reaction by means of in situ/Operando spectroscopy technique.
Major Outcomes
Ms. Jiang cooperated with others to undertake one research project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, and another of Science & Technology Department of Henan Province. As a registered safety appraiser, she has completed more than 10 safety evaluation projects and published a textbook related with safety engineering.
