Prof. Huiping Li
Professor, Master Supervisor
Dr. Huiping Li received her Ph.D degree in Chemical Engineering and Technology in 2007 from Zhengzhou University (Zhengzhou, China). She worked as a faculty member in Chemical Engineering department of Zhengzhou University since July, 1982. She visited Georgia Institute of Technology as a visiting scholar from Nov. 2007 to Jan. 2009. Her research is mainly related with development of new energy material and utilization of coal-based chemicals. She has over 40 research papers published on AM, Acta Thermochem, AIChE etc., 2 patents and 4 textbooks. Her work has received the Technological Innovation Award from Henan province for 6 times.
Participated Research Projects
1. Hosted the “Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFCs) innovative electrolyte material development” project (completed in Jan. 2009);
2. Henan significant welfare scientific program “Highly efficient utilization of Alumina Oxide red mud technology” (completed in Dec. 2015);
3. International collaboration program “Design and synthesis of nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring proton exchange membrane” (completed in 2012);
4. Aluminum Corporation of China technology department “Red mud dealkalization, waste water treatment, utilization and extended experimentation of dealkalized red mud research” (completed in Aug. 2010).
