Xu Jian, male, Han ethnicity, was born on June 14th, 1973 and is a member of the Democratic Party. He is an associate professor, a master's supervisor, and the deputy secretary-general of the Henan Province Advertising Academic Committee. He is also a member of the China Industrial Design Association, the Henan Packaging Technology Association, and the China Color Education Professional Committee.

He received his Bachelor's degree in Decorative Design from the Department of Arts and Crafts at Henan University from 1990 to 1994, attended the Journalism and Communication graduate program at Zhengzhou University from 1999 to 2001, and obtained his Master's degree in Design Art from the School of Design at Jiangnan University from 2003 to 2007.

Xu Jian has been a lecturer in the Advertising Department of Zhengzhou University's Journalism and Communication College since 1994 and has the title of associate professor. He teaches courses such as "Graphic Advertising Design", "Creative Thinking Training", "Computer Graphic Design", "Composition of Graphic Colors" and "Creative Graphics" for undergraduate students, and teaches "Advertising Creative Design" and other professional courses for master's students.

He has published a book titled "Digital Advertising Graphic Design" and more than ten papers, including "Humorous Expression in Advertising" and "Discussion on China's Higher Design Education Reform". He has won more than 20 national and provincial-level awards such as "China Star" and has guided his students to win a total of 27 awards (including one Asia-Pacific Gold Award and one International Copper Award).

Xu Jian has been engaged in the advertising industry for over ten years, starting as a graphic designer, and then served in different positions like designer and creative director, and is currently in the management of advertising companies. He has participated in and organized more than 300 individual and campaign projects, accumulating extensive practical experience, which he is committed to transforming into teaching theories.
