Wang Yilan is an associate professor and master's supervisor in the School of Journalism and Communication at Zhengzhou University. She received her doctoral degree in journalism theory from the School of Journalism and Communication at Wuhan University in 2015. Her research interests include new media, development communication, and political communication. Her previous work experience includes working for the "Henan Daily" newspaper.
