Zhao Zhimin, born in August 1973, Han nationality, Chinese Communist Party member, has a Ph. D. Degree in journalism from Fudan University. She is currently an associate professor and master's supervisor at the School of Journalism and Communication, Zhengzhou University. She is a young backbone teacher in Henan Province, a young backbone teacher at Zhengzhou University, and a member of the Chinese Society for Journalism History.
In March 2013, she visited the School of Media at City University of Hong Kong. From September 2014 to August 2015, she was selected as a dispatched personnel for communication industry professionals between universities and news organizations in Henan Province. During this time, she worked at Henan Television News Center. From August 2015 to August 2016, she was a visiting scholar in the Department of Media and Journalism at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA. In July 2004, she participated in the "National Advanced Training Class for Teachers of Journalism History in Higher Education Institutions" sponsored by the Chinese Society for Journalism History at the Beijing Broadcasting Institute, and obtained the "Certificate of Training for Backbone Teachers in Higher Education Institutions". In August 2007, she attended the Graduate Summer School of "Chinese and Foreign Journalism and Communication Theoretical Research and Methods" at Fudan University and obtained the Certificate of Completion.
